Sources
The Sources
collection aggregates and acknowledges the distributed sources to be made globally available to all room model instances through the magic crosspoint-routing that is the backbone of the Crescendo framework.
Summary
The source IDs specified in the Default Sources parameter of the Sources collection are a subset of the sources that feed into audio and/or video distribution equipment. When the Sources parameter on a room model we will call "Kitchen" is given "", the sources whose IDs have been used in the Default Sources parameter of the Sources collection are conveniently automatically passed to Kitchen as available sources. These default sources are made globally available to all room models through the dynamic crosspoint-routing magic that the minimalist architecture of Crescendo facilitates among interfaces, sources, and switchers, entirely through room models.
Tutorial
Simply enter the IDs of the source model instances to be globally accessible, delimited by \x (i.e. \x01\x02\x05). The signals themselves can be commented out unless you are building some custom stuff.
Notes
If the sources parameter of a room contains sources beyond the default sources, then IDs of the default sources must be specified in addition to the IDs of the non-default sources.Simply enter the IDs of the source model instances to be globally accessible, delimited by \x (i.e. \x01\x02\x05). The signals themselves can be commented out unless you are building some custom stuff.
